INDEPENDENT LIVING

Independent living units (ILUs) are available in one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom configurations with a price range to suit all budgets. We have two sites covering 21 acres and are set among lovely gardens. Both sites are conveniently close to all local amenities.

Weekly service fees cover all maintenance, gardening and outgoings, including water rates. Eventide covers insurances for all buildings but not contents insurance.

ILU residents are welcome to join in with all activities, including our regular happy hours, meetings and informative talks that are given by various organisations. There is a sense of community, while maintaining a high level of privacy.

ONE-BEDROOM UNITS

One-bedroom units are brick veneer, single-storey and adjoin another unit. They are available in six styles (three small and three large). All units have a sunroom, lounge-kitchen-dining, bedroom with built-in robes, and bathroom–laundry.

  • Refurbished units are freshly painted throughout. Fully refurbished units may have new carpet, vinyl and blinds in addition to fresh paint.
  • All units have split-system heating and cooling, and some have additional gas heating.
  • Most units have carports, either attached or not too far away.
  • All units sit in picturesque grounds that are lovingly cared for. Some overlook the adjoining golf course.

TWO-BEDROOM UNITS, HAMILTON VILLAGE

Hamilton Village is located at 78 George Street, close to Eventide, Gray Street business centre, the hospital, the golf course and scenic walking trails along the Grangeburn and Lake Hamilton. Comprising 19 units and set within landscaped gardens, Hamilton Village residents enjoy meeting at the central community centre regularly for meals, board games and crafts, or just dropping in for a coffee and chat with neighbours, friends and family.

  • There is a large work shed with enough space to continue your interests and projects. A good-size fruit and vegetable garden provides fresh seasonal goodness.
  • Units are brick veneer, single-storey and are available in two- or three-bedroom styles.
