Services

CARE
Our staff are on duty 24 hours each day, providing supported living in a caring, home-like environment. Staff provide personal care for daily living activities, assistance with medical needs, health and exercise, and social connections. We have access to visiting practitioners, including doctors, physiotherapists, podiatrists, speech therapists, dieticians, dental services and optometrists. Chemist supplies are also delivered daily, as required.
ROOMS
Each resident has a private single bedroom and ensuite, and we also have some interconnecting rooms for couples. All rooms provide well-designed living environments set in quality appointed surroundings with particular outlooks from rooms. Residents are encouraged to decorate their rooms to create their own personal space and comfort.
CATERING
Our well-trained catering staff prepare delicious, dietician-approved meals in our kitchen. Residents are encouraged to eat their meals in the dining rooms. Individual menu selection, range and choice are available for most meals.

Activities

Residents are encouraged to participate in a wide range of fun and stimulating social activities on a daily basis. Activities include arts and crafts, bingo and other games, church services and discussion groups, cultural events and celebrations, exercises, indoor bowls and golf, movies, singing and listening to visiting entertainers, special information sessions, visiting mobile facilities, and word games.

Lifestyle

We also offer a hairdressing salon, kiosk, chapel, pool table, library, outdoor seating area, single mini golf hole, small and private sitting rooms, private dining room, raised garden beds, walking trails, barbecue and pergola. Residents can arrange their own internet and Foxtel connections to their rooms. Tea- and coffee-making facilities are available for visitors throughout the facility.

Pastoral Care

Eventide Lutheran Homes and Hamilton Village are committed to offering pastoral care to residents, clients, families, volunteers and staff as an expression of its Christian care for all people.

Pastoral care is bringing Jesus to people. Pastoral care responds to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of another person and involves ‘being with’ people and sharing their life journey.

The pastoral care team is sensitive to and respectful of different faith traditions, beliefs and cultural needs. While we encourage residents to maintain contact with their own faith community, residents are welcome to attend the regular worship services held at Eventide and led by local ministers.

A chaplain is available upon request to all residents, their families and staff of Eventide Lutheran Homes and Hamilton Village. We offer a professional and confidential service in an environment of trust and confidentiality.

Every Sunday, there is a Lutheran worship service in the Eventide chapel, sometimes with Holy Communion. Residents, visitors and staff are welcome to attend.
